A luxurious silk scrunchie featuring 'SANNICK' a design inspired by sandstone on Sannick beach. Lines from a poem by Pablo Neruda have been lovingly carved into an area of old red sandstone, and I was delighted to work with Barbara Cowan of The Coo's Tail Gallery in Thurso to interpret this into a textile design. Look closely and you'll find limpets, carvings and original sandstone features in this new design.
Made from super soft 100% silk satin, these are curly hair friendly and comfortable to wear in all types of hair. Silk has a wide range of benefits for the hair, including less breakage and frizz thanks to it's smooth, frictionless surface.
The OEKO-TEX certified silk has been printed on the same base as my decadent silk scarves. All Agate & Ayre products are handmade by me in my Glasgow studio.
