A luxurious silk scrunchie featuring 'KRISTIANSAND'. An exciting, colourful textile inspired by thin section imagery. The thin section was created by technician Iona Copely of the University of Aberdeen by filing the sample down to a very thin slice - this allowed us to investigate the optical properties of the sample through cross polarised light. I think thin section imagery is absolutely outstanding and after the success of my Granite thin section design, I’m very excited to have worked with this type of scientific imagery again.
Made from super soft 100% silk satin, these are curly hair friendly and comfortable to wear in all types of hair. Silk has a wide range of benefits for the hair, including less breakage and frizz thanks to it's smooth, frictionless surface.
The silk has been sustainably printed in the UK on the same base as my decadent silk scarves. Handmade by me in my studio in Glasgow. Composition: 100% Silk, do not wash.
