A beautifully soft bamboo neckwarmer featuring 'KRISTIANSAND' which is an exciting, colourful textile inspired by thin section imagery. The thin section was created by technician Iona Copely of the University of Aberdeen by filing the sample down to a very thin slice - this allowed us to investigate the optical properties of the sample through cross polarised light. I think thin section imagery is absolutely outstanding and after the success of my Granite thin section design, I’m very excited to have worked with this type of scientific imagery again.
 
Multipurpose, my handmade bamboo neckwarmers can be worn around the neck, as a face covering or even a headband. A great companion for any outdoor adventures or sports to keep the chill out whilst looking stylish, bamboo has naturally thermal properties.
 
These bamboo neckwarmers are available in a full selection of prints inspired by geology and pattern found in the natural world. Handmade by me from my studio in Glasgow.
 
Neckwarmer is approximately 23cm high and are 52cm in diameter, made from a super stretchy material to fit any head and neck size.
