A luxurious silk scrunchie featuring 'ABERDEEN'. This print is inspired by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) imagery of a sand sample collected at Aberdeen beachfront. I combined the monochrome SEM images with a colour palette from the day I collected the sand to create this beautiful moody blue and sandy beige textile.

Made from super soft 100% silk satin, these are curly hair friendly and comfortable to wear in all types of hair. Silk has a wide range of benefits for the hair, including less breakage and frizz thanks to it's smooth, frictionless surface.

The OEKO-TEX certified silk has been printed on the same base as my decadent silk scarves. All Agate & Ayre products are handmade by me in my Glasgow studio.
